Leksand Sommarland is open through August 15, with its final days of the season falling on August 13–15. But Leksand continues to offer plenty to enjoy long after the park has closed. The beach and the lakeside promenade along Lake Siljan are just a few minutes’ walk from your cottage, and 2.5 km away, downtown Leksand awaits with restaurants, cafés, and shops.
If you'd like to get some exercise, there are golf courses, bike paths, hiking trails, and jogging trails in the surrounding area—and at the resort, you'll find adventure golf, beach volleyball, and barbecue areas.
