Then you’ve come to the right place! At Leksand Resort, we offer winterized cottages for long-term rental, with flexible rental periods—from one month up to June 2027, starting in September 2026. Whether you’re building, renovating, studying, or just need a temporary home base, we have the perfect cabin for you.

Our cottages aren’t just cozy—they’re fully furnished and equipped to provide you with a comfortable home away from home. Here you’ll find both modern homes and simpler cottages, all perfect for long-term stays during the fall, winter, and spring. The rent includes electricity, water, heat, Wi-Fi, parking, TV, and access to a laundry room with self-dosing washers and dryers. To ensure a pleasant environment for all our guests, pets are not allowed during extended stays.

 

Flexible Rental Options
Here at Leksand Resort, you can rent a cabin on a month-to-month basis or book all the way through June 2027. Payment is easy—via direct debit or invoice—so you can focus on what matters most: enjoying your new temporary home.

In order for us to confirm your booking, we also need proof of fixed income (e.g., employment certificate). We perform a credit check to ensure that everything is in order before approving your application with us.

To book, send an expression of interest to bokning@leksandresort.se. Don't forget to include:
Your name, address, social security number, and phone number.
A brief explanation of why you want to stay with us.
The months you want to rent the cottage for, and your preferred cottage type (please indicate both your first and second choices).

Here you’ll find 240 cabins, 33 glamping sites, 414 campsites, and 25 Kabevagnar with access to 7 different service buildings and a laundry room. Enjoy good food in the restaurant, shop in the store, or grab an ice cream at the kiosk. Relax by the pool or on the sandy beach, play adventure golf, and let the kids play in our playgrounds.
