5-STAR CAMPING

Since 1966, Svensk Camping (SCR) has been classifying Swedish campsites. The external party Svensk Klassificering carries out the classification, which is voluntary and takes place every three years, except for five-star campsites, which are visited every year.

To receive five stars according to the Swedish Classification System, a wide range of activities and services are required, as well as above-average maintenance of the campsite. The areas examined are service buildings, the grounds, facilities, activities, and events.

"It takes a lot of focused effort to achieve five stars. The range of services and the standard of the facilities must be of a very high class," says Martin Juhos, CEO of SCR Svensk Camping.
